EVENT
OUTLINE
A team of four member men or
women, racing non-stop for 2 days 1 night about
150km course.
Challenges in this race relate to
nature, culture and adventure. It is “the
Amazing Race” concept with a few dicipline
- extreme adventures, traditional games, culture
activity and special tasks along the route. The
participants are required to form their own team
consisting of 4 team members. The challenge is
open to all individuals of 18 year old and
above. The selected route is a few beaches and
water fall in Kelantan.

GENERAL RULES & REGULATION
1.
Name of Event ► Kelantan Culture Eco race 2009
2. Date of Event ► 8th of May – 10th of May 2009
3. Participants
3.1 This event is opened to interested parties
between age 18 above, fit mental
and physical with
good health for the duration of the event. As a precaution,
participants are
advised to undergo a medical check up prior to date of the
event.
3.2 Each team must be comprised of 4 members.
3.3 Each team must use own car during the event
3.4 Entance Fees – RM 800 per team included

4.4.3 Meals on the day of the event and gala diner (Meals on 8 May not
inclusive)

( tent on 9 May and Chalet on 10 May)
3.5 The event
organizers will provide all the equipment during this event, except
car.
4. Race
4.1 Each team must complete the task and arrive at the finishing line
(all team
members) in accordance with the route fixed by the organizers.
4.2
Every team will get their points on each task.
4.3 The winner will be
determined by completion on their task and time within
stipulated time given.
4.4 Member of each
team must be intact at all times. No member is allowed
being away from the rest
of the team by more than 50 meters. Any team
that violates this rule shall be
automatically disqualified.
4.5 Outside assistance
by non participants are not allowed during the entire
race. Any participants
found guilty for such offence will be disqualified from
the race.
4.6 One KCER 09 passport will be issued to each team. The passport
must be
stamped at each checkpoint.
Each KCER
Passport must be kept safely at
all time during the race. If missing it will
result in disqualification or exclusion
from competition ranking.
4.7 Only designated Race Officials will stamp the passport. Team
members
must enter and leave checkpoints together. Each team must ensure that
their
event passports are duly signed by officials at the various checkpoints.
Failure to comply will result in the team being disqualified in the event.
4.8 To complete the entire race, teams must pass through all
checkpoints.
Should a team miss a checkpoint, they must backtrack to the
missed
checkpoints to get their passport stamped.
4.9
Every competitor
is sorely responsible for his/her involvement in the
competition. He / She are
the sole judge whether he/she should begin /
continue his / her participation in
the competition.
4.10 Participants who are not certain of their physical and/ or mental
capacities
to participate in the race are advised to consult their family doctor
prior to
participate.
4.11 The event organizer will provide First-Aid service during the
race. There will
be First-Aid stations along the race route. There will also be
mobile support
team along the route to provide First-Aid assistance
4.12 In the event of an
injury, the medical official will determine whether the
participant is fit to
continue the challenge. The decision will be final.
4.13 Each team is
prohibited from cutting, breaking or pulling out any vegetation,
killing any
animals and lighting bonfires and the like. If any team is caught,
the team will
be disqualified from the event and ordered to pay a fine set by
the local
authorty.
4.14 The event organizer shall activate the official time clock when
the race is
flagged down and stop it after the race cut-off
time There will
be cut-off times
along the race route. Failure to check in before the
pre-determined cut-off
time shall result in automatic disqualification to the
team.
4.15 The event
organizer reserves the right to add, modify, cancel or change the
course at
anytime. Prior to that, an announcement will be made by the event
organizer.
4.16 The event organizer
reserves the right to delay the event or re-route the
course or dicipline
due to bad weather, safety or any other reason. The event
organizer’s decision
will be final.
4.17 All decision made by
event organizer are final. Detailed rules and regulations
will be brief by
organizer on registration day.
5. Appeals.
5.1 Any
appeal by any team must be forwarded formally through event protest
form and
must be accompanied with protest fee amounting to RM 200.00.
